The 37th Pee-Dee Regional High-School Mathematics Tournament will take place on Tuesday, 2013 December 03. Students take a Written Competition in the morning and those schools that progress to the Finals send teams of four students to the stage to answer questions. Awards consist of plaques to the winning teams from each division, large octagonal plaques to First, Second and Third Prize for performance on the Written Competition, and plaques to those students awarded Honorable Mentions. At the most recent event, 257 students from 17 area high schools competed in the Tournament. Materials will be mailed to area high schools in October of year 2013. This website will be updated at the time too so that coaches can download materials if for any reason the hardcopy version should not arrive. |
