Kelly Jokisch is currently the sixth grade beginning band director at Moore Intermediate School and an instructor of music at Francis Marion University teaching Introduction to Music and Creative Arts for the Elementary School Teacher.
She holds a Bachelor of Music Education from Stetson University, a Performance Certificate from Göteborg University School of Music in Sweden and a Master of Music in Trumpet Performance from the University of Florida. At the University of Florida Mrs. Jokisch served as a graduate assistant for the Gator Marching Band, Basketball Pep Band and the UF Trumpet Studio.Mrs. Jokisch has over 10 years of experience teaching music in K-12 schools, recently stepping down after 6 years as the director of bands at South Florence High School. She is affiliated with the South Carolina Band Directors Association, South Carolina Music Educators Association, Music Educators National Conference and the International Trumpet Guild. Jokisch, a trumpet performer, is a member of Florence Brass, The Woodys and the Florence Symphony Orchestra.
