Art Education Major Podcasts

STUDENT PODCASTS

As part of a classroom assignment, Francis Marion University art education majors produced podcasts of selected artworks from the permanent collection of the North Carolina Museum of Art. In order to complete the project, students researched their artwork and artist, they took a class fieldtrip to the museum in Raleigh, North Carolina to see the artwork in person and take part in a docent tour specially organized by the museum for the project, they studied museum podcasts, and then created their podcasts.

Click on the links below to hear the students’ podcasts. The project was made possible by a generous grant from the Francis Marion University Quality Enhancement Program. The Francis Marion University Art Education program would like to thank the North Carolina Museum of Art’s education department for their assistance with this project.
