ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE OPTION

Coordinator: Dr. Jeffrey A. Steinmetz

The Environmental Science Option in Biology offers students the choice of specialization in environmental science at the undergraduate level.

It requires the completion of recommended General Education courses, a required Core Curriculum of science and mathematics courses, and requirements for the biology major. A total of 125 to 127 semester hours of credit are required for graduation.

Please note that this option is also offered within the Chemistry or Physics majors as well. The curriculum would have to be changed to suit those particular major requirements.

The Environmental Science curriculum with a biology major and a chemistry minor is summarized below. Information on this page is subject to change, for the best information check your catalog.
